HF operation uses an Icom IC-7300 feeding a home-built 148-foot end-fed long wire. A 9:1 balun matches the antenna, which spans the garden and adjoining rooftop line.

The IC-9700 covers 2 m, 70 cm and 23 cm. Roof-mounted antennas include a Diamond X50 collinear and a 23/2/70 cm vertical.
